"Why is packaging production so difficult and complicated?"
Packaging production is still carried out in many inefficient ways. The process from planning to design, quotation, order placement, and production is complex, and the person in charge has to handle repeated communication with multiple stakeholders along the way. Even the smallest piece of misaligned information can delay the schedule, and that burden often falls back on the brand.
Packative aims to make packaging production something that is no longer limited to a small group of specialists, but a task that any brand manager can understand and manage without feeling overwhelmed. To do this, we have used AI technology to automate the packaging ordering process, which used to take weeks, and connected everything from quotation to order into a single workflow, reducing the time and burden involved in packaging production.
In 2025, these efforts came together and led to meaningful growth that can also be seen in the numbers.
A 2025 Recap in Numbers
2025 was a year of meaningful growth for Packative, both as a business and as a team.
23% year-over-year revenue growth
In 2025, Packative achieved 23% revenue growth compared to the previous year. More than 3,500 client representatives from startups to large corporations used Packative to produce packaging, and in a customer satisfaction survey conducted among actual users, 98% responded positively. The cumulative number of packaging units produced through Packative has exceeded 5.78 million.
Securing investment and accelerating expansion into Japan
In 2025, important decisions accompanied our revenue growth. We completed our Pre-A funding round and began preparing in earnest to enter overseas markets. This round was led by Japanese venture capital firm Miraise, with participation from U.S.-based LA venture capital firm Strong Ventures, domestic venture capital firm VNTG, and a Japanese packaging-industry CVC.
In particular, this investment has accelerated our preparations for a full-scale entry into the Japanese market with local partners, and we expect to make a formal move in the near future.
