[Small Business Support Program] Start Package Design and Logistics with Government Grants

And if you hire experts, the costs can be surprisingly high, so early-stage expenses often feel much heavier than revenue. But if you look closely, did you know that you can get support in multiple areas through government grants without having to put in 100% of your own capital?

In our previous post, we introduced how to run your business smarter through government support programs, and today we’ve gathered the support programs that are essential for running a small brand, from package, BI, and product detail page design to logistics (fulfillment) support. 📖

🎨2025 Package Design Improvement and Production (Product Improvement)

Out of the total project cost of KRW 2.871 million, 90% of the supply amount (KRW 2.349 million) is covered by national funding, and you only need to cover 10% of the supply amount (KRW 261,000) plus VAT (KRW 261,000). This program supports design improvement and production for a total of five items, including outer boxes, stickers, tape, belly bands, and product guides.

[Support Details]

1. Diagnosis and Consulting

  • Diagnose the current design status of the small business
  • Collect and analyze competitor reference materials
  • Establish design direction

2. Design Improvement and Production

  • Based on diagnosis and consulting, select five package design items the small business wants and receive design improvement and production support based on the final concept
  • Package design scope: a total of five items, including outer boxes, stickers, tape, belly bands, and product guides

3. Attached Production Material Support

  • Support for two types of attached production materials that can be used for application within the improvement and production scope
  • Physical support for attached production materials within the self-funded payment limit
  • No changes to production items midway

4. After-Sales Support

  • If participating companies wish, guidance on online marketplace entry support methods, etc.
  • Up to three months of A/S support after the final design deliverables are provided

  • B2C products that can be sold online (physical products)

🪄2025 BI and Character Design Improvement and Production (Product Improvement)

This support program helps cover the production of the most basic brand assets, such as logos and business cards. You can receive support for improving or producing one of BI, CI, or a character, and it also supports the production of printed materials for a total of two items, including small envelopes and business cards.

✨2025 Product Detail Page Production (Product Improvement)

A must for product sales! This program supports the design needed to create product detail pages, product photography, and, depending on your selection, short-form videos for detail pages or additional product shoots. Among the implementing organizations in 2025 is Miridih (MiriCanvas, BizHows), which has the largest design service portfolio in Korea.🥳

  • Support for creating product detail pages based on diagnosis and consulting
  • Detailed product image shoots for building the detail page (1 thumbnail shot, 10 styled shots and cut-out shots)

3. Optional Tasks (choose 1 of 4)

  • Paid template access (12 months, MiriCanvas, Canva, etc.)
  • Additional product shoot for one more item (10 shots total)
  • Short-form video for detail pages (around 15–30 seconds)
  • Global detail page production and translation (translation and variations)

4. After-Sales Support

  • Support for online marketplace entry

📦2025 Smart Logistics Support Program for Small Businesses

Once you’ve finished preparing the essentials for product sales — such as brand detail pages, logos, brochures, and packaging — there’s one more hurdle. That’s everything that happens before the product reaches the customer: ordering, storage, inventory management, packing, courier shipping, customer service, and more. Logistics management is another area that takes a great deal of time and money when you’re running a business on your own.

So many business owners have probably considered ‘joining a fulfillment service’ at least once. This support program is run by CJ Logistics, Korea’s No. 1 fulfillment company. Out of the total project cost (up to KRW 1,925,000), 90% of the supply amount (up to KRW 1,575,000) is covered by national funding, and you can use fulfillment services with 10% of the supply amount plus VAT (KRW 350,000) paid as self-funding.

📦Fulfillment refers to the integrated service or process that handles everything from the moment a customer places an order until the product is delivered to them (product storage > order collection and processing > shipping > returns handling)
