3D model preview options
- Click on the magnifying glass icon on the bottom right corner to zoom in and out on the 3D model.
- Press rotate icon on the bottom right corner to rotate the 3D model.
- Click on the cube icon to close the lid of the box. If you click on the open-lid box icon, you can Open the box again.
- Check out the model from different angles using vertically listed arrays of icon. You can check how the design would come out in real life from multiple perspectives
Change position and view of 3D model
If you want to change the position of the 3D model, you can do that by right-clicking on the model and drag it to the wanted position.
You can zoom in and out on the 3D model by using the mouse wheel over the model.
How to duplicate a design element
- Select a design element (text, graphics, etc).
- Click on the ‘Copy’ icon, or choose right-click to choose ‘Copy’ option to duplicate.
- Copy/Paste allows you to duplicate for multiple times.
Pro Tip: You can press [Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V] for Copy/Paste option. !CAUTION!: If an element is grouped, the entire group will be duplicated. If you want to duplicate a single element within the group, you have to ungroup first.
How to rotate a design element
- Select a design element (text, graphics, etc).
- Click on the top handle to rotate the selection.
Pro Tip: If you press Shift while rotating, you can rotate the element by 45°
How to change the size of a design element
It’s very simple to change the size of a design element.
Select: Select a design element of your liking.
Expand/Reduce: Click on the edge of an design element and drag inward/outward to shift the size of the element. You can constrain the proportions of the element if you click on the corner.
Easier way: You can always use +/- key to shift the size of an element.
Pro Tip: Press [Ctrl + A] to change size of multiple design elements at once.
!CAUTION! : If multiple elements are enlarged in a group, the editor will not show, if the resolution is too low. Please check for each design item.
If multiple elements are grouped together, the group will shift size as a whole. If you want to shift the size of a single element that has been grouped, you have to ungroup first.
How to change the order of layers
As different layers of design elements are added, you may shift the order so that you can hide or bring forward the graphics of your liking.
Select: Click on the design element (text, graphics, etc) that you want to move.
Bring forward / Send backward : Bring forward moves an object one layer up, while Send Backward moves it one step to the back.
Bring to front / Send to back : Right-click on the design elements to put the object at the first / last position in the ordering.
Alignment
You can align objects like text, images, shapes, and also a group of objects. They can be aligned horizontal, vertical, or centered.
How to move the dieline
Need to view a different part of the dieline? Move your dieline around so that you can get a better view of each section.
Moving the Dieline: Press Ctrl and click-and-drag to move the dieline.
